It’s that time of year again – use-it-or-lose-it season. Dental insurance and flexible savings accounts often expire at the end of the year. You've already paid for them so, don't let your benefits go to waste. Many dental plans allow patient visits twice per year for preventive care. Are you in need of an additional cleaning to get ready for fall events and holiday get-togethers? Perhaps you have remaining restorative dental care such as a crown, bridge or implant - completing your work this year could save on your out of pocket expense. Beat the end of the year rush! We expand hours for the end of the year rush but can not guarantee a spot so call us now! Here are some tips for maximizing those end-of-year benefits:
As you can imagine, our team is the heart of our practice and we are each committed to providing our patients with an exceptional dental experience. We welcomed Rachael as our Front Desk Coordinator in March. She has been a wonderful addition and patients have shared very positive feedback after their visits and phone calls. She looks forward to greeting you soon! We're also excited that Brittany is officially back from her maternity leave 3 days per week! You can read more about our whole team by clicking here. Our experienced team continues to expand their knowledge with recent courses including Invisalign, implantology, preventive and routine care, pathology and emergency training.
To add to our patients exceptional experience, patients of Dr. Eunson benefit from top rated dental materials, lab and utilize high tech equipment and techniques. For example, did you know that Dr. Eunson ONLY uses dental labs in the United States? This ensures you are receiving dental work such as crowns, bridges, implant crowns, partial and dentures of the highest standard.
Recently Dr. Eunson had to make the difficult decision to go out of network with United Healthcare, Principal and Unicare/Anthem which includes some BC/BS Insurance plans. We expect these changes will have minimal impact for our patients with these insurances. We continue to accept them as an independent provider. These plans will typically continue to pay the office directly and have the same and sometimes higher reimbursement than they did previously. While change can sometimes be scary, the great news is that you can continue to come here for your dental care. Dental benefits are a contract between the patient and the insurance company and function differently than medical insurance. Ultimately, your insurance benefits are your responsibility. However, to help patients, our administrative team works hard to help you understand your insurance and reduce your out of pocket expense. These efforts include verification of your dental benefits. Insurance companies and employers can modify plans, so if you have questions or any changes in your dental benefits, please contact the office at 610.558.1977.
Finally, we are improving our systems to assist our administrative team to better serve you. This includes more efficient claims processing, billing, secure emails, confirmations and appointment scheduling. For example, our scheduling system will now allow you to move your appointments sooner when they become available! This system will enable us to send you options as quickly as possible and in real time! As always, we request reply to appointment confirmations as soon as possible. This allows us to see you at a time you prefer and assist others to be seen when they are scheduled. We have also changed our biling system. We expect the transition will be seemless but if you have any questions about a bill you recieve or think it might be in error please give us a call as soon as possible! Make sure you schedule your next appointment by clicking here or give us a call at 610-558-1977!
Sincerely,
Dr. Eunson and the Team at Eunson Dental
- Schedule it now! Although we expand our hours to better accommodate patients, the closer we get to the end of the year, the fewer appointments are available.
- Don't let your benefits expire! Finish up your necessary dental treatment this year!
- The holidays are coming - get ready to smile brightly while decking the halls, entertaining guests, and posing for those family photos!
