It’s that time of year again – insurance use-it-or-lose-it season. Are you eligible for an additional cleaning and checkup? Do you have remaining restorative dental care such as a crown, bridge or implant? Many patients have dental benefits – including flexible spending accounts – that will expire at the end of the year. As a result, this becomes a busy time of year for us, as patients schedule appointments before their benefits expire. Here are some tips for maximizing those end-of-year benefits:
Second, many patients are enjoying the new option to save 5% on their out of pocket expenses. You can take advantage of this by prepaying for your appointment at the time of scheduling! Don't forget to ask our front desk team for more details when you schedule your next appointment!
Third, as you know, our team is committed to providing the highest quality dental care that includes an exceptional experience for our patients. We are happy to announce that we are now in-network with the insurance carriers, Always Care, Argus and Guardian (through Zelis)!
Finally, after extended negotiations with United Concordia, we reached an agreement that keeps us in network with about 70% of our UC patients. As with so many things today, our expenses continue to increase. Recently, we had to make the difficult decision to go out of network with Delta Dental due to their low reimbursements. We hope future reimbursement from UC and other insurance companies do a better job keeping up with inflation.
At Eunson Dental, we all believe you deserve to have excellent dental care from a highly trained team to using the best materials and labs. While dental benefits are different from medical insurance, we know that they help patients pay for their dental services. Our administrative team works hard to verify each person's benefits to help you reduce your out of pocket expense. While dental benefits are a contract between the patient and the insurance company, we strive to provide you with the best estimate of anticipated insurance reimbursements. If you have any changes in your dental benefits or questions about your proposed dental care and maintenance, please contact the office at 610.558.1977.
Give us a call now so we can schedule your fall appointment!!
Sincerely,
Dr. Anne Eunson, and the entire Eunson Dental Team
- Schedule it now! The closer we get to the end of the year, the fewer appointments will be available.
- Finish it up! Schedule now to complete any needed treatments or unfinished dental work. Don’t put it off – your benefits will expire soon.
- Smile brightly during the holidays! Scheduling your hygiene appointment before the holiday season will help you smile confidently while decking the halls, entertaining guests, and posing for those family photos.
