Dear Eunson Dental Friends and Families:
Our community has been through a lot over the last few months. My team and I have thought about you often. We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Finally yesterday the PA Department of Health authorized resuming routine dental care. My team is educated, prepared, and looking forward to your return. Over the next couple of weeks, we will be contacting anyone who has missed an appointment or is overdue. When we contact you, please be sure to let us know if you have any issues that are of concern, so that we can schedule appropriately for your visit. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. In addition, our team also participated in many live infection control webinars over the last 3 months. Pleasantly, we learned that we already had a higher than usual level of infection control and protection but we have still added more layers.
We have invested in quite a few office upgrades including additional air purification (one in every operator, common area, main HVAC system, etc.) improved water filtration, improved suction systems, barriers such as glass at the front desk and lots of PPE which is for the mutual benefit of you and our team. We've even installed a washer and dryer to handle the increased number of isolation gowns. Now we'll be taken care of them in house rather than adding all that extra volume to the landfill.
You'll also see some changes in the flow of patients through the office. To reduce the number of patients in the office at the same time we will be allowing more time in between and also using a virtual waiting room rather than our in-office waiting area. Other modifications include:
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. Currently, our online scheduling system is disabled to allow us to prioritize those that are overdue. Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends.
Sincerely,
Dr. Anne Eunson and the entire Eunson Dental Team

You'll also see some changes in the flow of patients through the office. To reduce the number of patients in the office at the same time we will be allowing more time in between and also using a virtual waiting room rather than our in-office waiting area. Other modifications include:
- Our office will ask you some screening questions before your scheduling and again before your appointment.
- We ask that you park in the upper lot using designated spots and then text 610.558.1977 that you have arrived.
- We ask that you wear a mask to the office and continue to keep it on throughout your visit (except when we're working, of course!)
- Hand sanitizer is available throughout the office and we will ask you to use it when you enter the office.
- We will no longer be able to offer magazines, children’s toys, and so forth since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect. Our dental operatories and administrative areas have been cleared of any clutter for the same reason.
- Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.
