Sonicare Flex Platinum electric toothbrush is a good choice for anyone. While a manual brush can have very effective results when used properly and for full 2 to 3 minutes recommended, an electric brush can make the job easier and more consistently effective. I also like this version because it it is the only sonicare model that has a pressure sensor. A major factor in gum recession is brushing with too much pressure. This brush helps train those of us with a heavy hand and therefore can help decrease the rate of gum recession.
